The Taste Lancashire Conference in March was a huge opportunity for The Ice Alchemists as it provided a platform to showcase the theatre, fun and quality taste of Ice Cream Rolls to people from within both the UK and International food and drink sectors. We had some great conversations on the day with both traders and delegates and we were absolutely thrilled to be contacted in the days after the event by Booths Supermarkets discussing a partnership opportunity within their upcoming Chocolate Festivals.
Booths to us as a family is a much loved store. We first moved to the Fylde Coast in 2013 and our local shop was Booths Lytham. We fell in love with the artisan, quality, local and family values of the store and nowadays love nothing more than taking time out to browse the aisles and chat to the most friendly staff within their various departments. Fast forward 6 years and our local shop is now Booth St Annes, just half a mile from our home. The first event we were asked to roll at was…Booths St Annes…what a dream!
Within our partnership at their Chocolate Festivals we also visited Booths stores in Knutsford, Kendal and Ilkley. In each location we turned Booths products, such as their Chocolate Brownie Mini Bites, Tiffin Bites, and Chocolate Chip Biscuit Bites in to Rolled Ice Cream. We then used some of their beautiful new range of chocolate slabs as toppings, choosing to shave them in to shards and pair Mint, Berry Burst, and Spiced Ginger slabs with the various mini-bite-flavoured-Ice Cream Rolls we created and served to store visitors and staff.
We had a great time and the flavours we created were delicious….they are the words of Booth’s customers who tried the samples, not just us, promise!
Thank you Booths from The Ice Alchemists Team.
