On Saturday night we had the best time at a beautiful Spring wedding in Wrea Green, which has spurred me on to write a little something about our ice cream rolls and weddings.
Since making the decision to only produce artisan ice cream rolls, using the very best and freshest ingredients, we have been shouting from the rooftops about the quality dessert and entertainment we can bring to your wedding, or any event for that matter.
We especially love working with couples to design a menu that is to their tastes and that suits their special day. They can choose from our tried and tested menu or we work with them to create something bespoke for their wedding, using their favourite flavours and even using colours to style the look of the ice cream to the event.
Most couples love to not only watch a slice of their wedding cake being turned in to ice cream rolls but also to have a go themselves! It is great fun, definitely the highlight of any wedding as the crowd of guests gather round to cheer (and video) their efforts.
We help them to take a slice of their cake (or doughnut tower!), push it through our decadent ice cream mix and produce a bespoke tub of ice cream rolls just for the happy couple to take away and enjoy on their wedding day.
The most popular flavours for the Spring/Summer weddings are definitely Prosecco with Strawberries and Popping Candy (which replicates the bubble sensation), Eton Mess made with mixed berries and meringue with optional luxury white chocoalte sauce, and Lemon Macaron with Gold Confetti.
Our winter weddings often choose a traditional mince pie ice cream roll or the Gingerbread with Organic Honey option, but new for this year will be a Mulled Wine Macaron offering. (Sorry to talk about Christmassy flavours in Summer, but we are enjoying a few months of excitement building up to this release of this one!)
